I’m Kirsty Zahra, the founder and photographer behind Studio Zahra. Studio Zahra was created through my deep love of intentional, refined wedding imagery photographs that feel timeless, honest, and emotionally true to the people within them.

Based in Melbourne and travelling across Australia and Europe, I document weddings with a calm presence, an editorial eye, and a deep appreciation for how a wedding day actually feels while you’re living it. I’m drawn to the quieter moments just as much as the big ones the anticipation before a ceremony begins, the softness of late afternoon light, the way the atmosphere shifts as the evening unfolds, and the feeling of being completely immersed in the people you love most.

My approach is intentional from beginning to end. I believe beautiful imagery comes from trust, preparation, and knowing when to gently guide and when to quietly observe. Through documenting weddings, I’ve developed an approach grounded in presence, intuition, and creating imagery that feels natural, considered, and emotionally connected.

I work closely with a select number of couples each year so every experience feels personal, seamless, and thoughtfully considered. From the first conversation through to final delivery, every detail is approached with care and intention.
